This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Headphones are essential every day in our classroom. Without working headphones, it is extremely difficult for my students to complete any online tasks. Using headphones not only helps the user concentrate but helps the students around the user concentrate. Since headphones do not last forever, there is a constant need for new headphones. While it would be ideal for each student to bring their own headphones and for headphones to last all school year, neither of those usually happens. My students' families struggle economically, and headphones often are unable to be purchased. We use Chromebooks daily. My students need these headphones to be successful. If they cannot provide their own pair or if their pair breaks, these headphones will be great to have to continue supporting my students academically. Unfortunately, most of my students come from low-income households and I cannot provide for all of them.
