My Students

My students are creative, energetic, and they love technology...sometimes, too harshly! Any great 4th-grade International Baccalaureate (IB) classroom is full of curiosity, and my students are no exception. We are not afraid to ask questions nor are we afraid of researching and experimenting to find the answers.

We believe in learning from our mistakes, perseverance, and the power of yet!

We bring inquiry and research to a whole new level through our use of technology and IB methods. This enthusiasm is contagious and we hope you will support us on our journey from 4th grade and beyond!

My Project

The last three school years have taken a toll on our classroom supplies. The pandemic has not been kind to our tech or flexible seating. No other items in our classroom show this wear and tear more than our class set of headsets and floor chairs.

The headsets are essential to our listening comprehension skills and the seats are needed for group work in inquiry-based learning!

Frustration can be seen on a daily basis as I watch my students try to use the classroom set of headsets we currently have. Please help me boost our confidence with a new set and a comfy place to work in groups!
