Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The first graders at Mayberry School are excited and eager to learn. They have become mini experts with technology thanks to the Chromebooks they received this fall. We recently learned our district will be fully remote until at least January 20. The students would love headphones and mice to support their learning!

My Project

Using a mouse track pad is often challenging for our first graders! Many of the programs the student are expected to use independently require them to use the drag and drop. skill An external mouse will help students to drag and drop items on their screen.

Having headphones with a microphone will let students actively participate in their online learning via Google Meets.

Remote learning can also be distracting when other siblings, pets or family members are in the home. It's our hope that headphones will allow the first graders to concentrate on their learning and eliminate some background distractions.
