Mrs. Rafferty from Pittsburgh PA is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students the ability to hear me clearer when they are at home. I am requesting a microphone to make my voice louder and clearer to those at home while teaching remotely to hybrid scholars.

My scholars are amazing. They are all very hands-on and love to create. With the funding of this project, I am looking to brighten their futures and their creative lives to fly with whatever their imagination brings to them. If you ask my scholars what the best part of their day is they will answer when they are able to be free and create what they choose.
Teaching scholars to know and understand that they may become whomever they wish is my main goal as a teacher.
This project allows my scholars to thrive in their own creativity and use their own minds and imagination to grow.
Beginning the year in a hybrid model was never anything I expected when I began teaching. But, it is definitely and experience I am enjoying. My scholars whether in person or online are showing growth and I want to continue this growth.
With the hybrid model it is difficult for my scholars to hear me clearly.
I am asking for a microphone to help my virtual scholars hear sounds and words as clearly as my in person scholars. Since scholars are now asked to sit in the same desk for hours throughout the day I am also requesting chair bands to allow them to move and kick while at their desk.
