My Students

My students are a heterogeneous mix of cultures and personalities. They include athletes to artists and everything in between. Each exhibits their own passions in and out of school. They want to be successful, and our school strives to give them every opportunity to do so.

Despite a multitude of challenges, both inside and outside of school, my students remain optimistic and maintain a positive attitude in school.

I love that no matter what is happening in the world or in their personal lives, my students give their best effort to their education.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference in the learning that goes on in our classroom. Our special needs/learning disabled students regularly engage in computer based testing and learning through programs such as iReady, ReadingPlus and Moby Max. These online programs help assist our special needs students in their learning goals as they work towards integrating into mainstream classes or inclusion style classes. Often times, students are asked to use their own headphones because the school provided headphones have broken or simply are unavailable.

Students need to be able to have access to the audio on their online learning activities and testing to effectively utilize these software programs.

These headphones will be dedicated to our classroom and cleaned on a daily basis. Please help me give my students quality headphones to make their online learning efforts more effective.
