This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fabulous! They come to class ready to learn, ready to work and explore new things every day. They are an energetic crew that wants to learn. They set goals for themselves and then strive to meet them both at school and at home.

My second graders live in a rural/suburban public school district.

The majority receive free or reduced-price lunch. They are constantly working to better their reading level and increase math skills and they love learning new concepts in both science and social studies.

My Project

Speaking in front of groups is daunting for everyone, and students today are spending more time behind screens both at school and at home. The Qball Wireless Microphone System will let my students speak in front of their peers clearly and with confidence. Students will be able to concentrate on their thinking while knowing their speaking voice is being heard.

We will be able to use the Qball Wireless Microphone System across the curriculum.

In math, students will be able to explain their thinking to others. We will use the Qball to present our social studies and science research projects. Children will also share their creative writing paragraphs with the class.
