My Students

Third grade is a developing year for students. In our third grade class we learn many academic things including reading, writing, and math. We also learn many social things that include being kind, honesty, self-worth, and diversity. Through these things my students become better citizens in our country.

We are very curious about the world around us.

We answer those questions through doing research and reading about those different things. Our class loves learning about different cultures and what happens when those cultures interact with each other. One way we observe is through listening.

My Project

In our classroom we use technology everyday. We are in need of headphones for our students. These requested LilGadgets headphones can connect to each other so the students can connect into the same computer and hear what is being said. They are also volume controlled so that our third graders will keep their ears safe.

These headphones are easy to store and are made for students.

We use headphones in our math, reading, writing, and science instruction. When we are taking a math test they are able to listen to all the questions so that the test is testing their math ability and reading ability. In reading, research says that listening to another person read can help the students hear what it is supposed to sound like. This helps our students be better readers. These headphones will allow our students to increase their reading abilities.
