Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students come in like little sponges - ready to soak up all we have to teach them, regardless of their starting points. I'm looking forward to a new year with bright shiny faces depending on me!
Most children come from low income families and the entire district gets free breakfast and lunch.
The situations the children come from do not provide them with an educational foundation however, their willingness and excitement about learning is not diminished. Although the students come from neighborhoods all over the city, we have a safe learning community that everyone contributes to.
My Project
My students will use the HamiltonBuhl Kids FlexPhones every day so I chose these sturdy and comfortable headphones for the class. We are departmentalized so I have two groups of 25 students sharing laptops, headphones, and all materials in the classroom.
These headphones will aide in my blended learning classroom as the students engage in digital content on their laptops.
The headphones will also block out sound from the activities going on in the rest of the room so students can concentrate on their work without distraction. These head phones will help the students on their self directed learning path.
