My Students

I have a very wonderful group of very talented 2nd graders.

These children work hard each and every day to succeed in being the best they can be.

Our school's motto is Where every day is the best day ever! These students strive to make sure that each day they come to school is truly the best day ever.

Our school is a Title 1 school, which means many of these children receive free or reduced lunch. These children excel in spite of obstacles.

My Project

We have Chromebooks available in our classrooms for a myriad of activities. Unfortunately, these computers did not come with headphones. We ask students to bring headphones from home, but many are unable to purchase things like this. The few sets of headphones we have available are several years old, and one side or the other is usually out. A lot of our designated computer time is spent either patching up old headphones as we are able, or trying to figure out why they don’t work. My students would benefit from having a classroom set of headphones for daily use.
