My Students

Becoming uncommon through persistence and hard work! My students are challenged every day to do their best and they always are up to that challenge. The students are in an accelerated science class that asks them to do work that is two to three times more challenging than a regular grade level science class and at twice the pace. These students will be the leaders in the sciences of tomorrow. I cannot wait to see what they become. Who knows how they will change their community and the world.

Today's generation needs to learn how to communicate digitally effectively while still being able to master communication of the written word.

Students in my science classes will be creating podcasts about scientific phenomena, astronomical objects, and amazing scientists. We tried creating videos this year about planets, but what we found was that our laptops did not have the capacity to record clearly. The kids had worked diligently only to be disheartened when they would view their final product and the sound was scratchy or barely audible.

The headphones with noise cancelling microphones will enable the students to create podcasts and videos that have crystal clear audio.
