My students need these headphones so that they can watch tutorials and flipped lessons. They also need them so that they can make their own videos and animations with voice recordings and complete computer science projects.

My Students

Our students come from diverse backgrounds. We currently have a number of students who are new to the country and speak limited English, if any. The students are eager to learn and experience things.

We are currently starting to promote Computer Science for All and are in need of supplies.

The students are excited to begin this adventure. Although our students come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, most are eager to learn and try new things. They enjoy thinking outside of the box and being challenged.

My Project

These headphones will be used to hear flipped lessons, as well as tutorials. The students will also use them when coding robots and other devices through iPad apps. Students will have built-in microphones, so no need for additional devices. They will be able to record their own voices easily with less background noise. I want the students to create their own tutorial videos for others about coding and programming. This will be a great way for them to demonstrate their understanding of concepts involved with coding, such as algorithms, programs, loops, conditionals, etc.

We have an ear for technology!

These headsets are sturdy and will serve over 600 students per week. They are easy to clean and maintain. Some students bring their own, but very few! I purchased a class set at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately, they were not durable and I cannot afford to replace them at this time. Any donation will be helpful!
