My Students

"In a world where you can be anything, be kind." Students see this motivational thought prominently displayed throughout our school. My class of 9- and 10-year old students are bright, thoughtful, and kind.

My students have a wide range of learning abilities, but they are all mastering the art of kindness.

Our school community has evolved into a more diverse population with ethnic and cultural differences. These sweet students embrace diversity with positivity and curiosity, showing kindness to all their peers. Moving from 3rd to 4th grade is a big step in their school experience. They are becoming the "big kids" of the school and are showing their younger peers what it means to be kind and inclusive of others.

My Project

Pandemic learning is difficult. Social distancing, sanitizing and seating arrangements are carefully monitored in each class. Students use individual supplies and computers at their desk every day. Headphones are now an essential learning tool in today's classroom.

My students need individual headphones to use with digital learning.

We have several digital programs students use in class on a daily basis. They need their own headphones to use during this time. Individual headphones keep students from having to sanitize shared headphones between use. They also help maintain a quiet learning environment and allows students to concentrate on their assignments.
