Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher at a low-income school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My students are active learners who require me to think out of the box with my teaching strategies.

Many of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch, and all students receive free breakfast based on their socioeconomic status. From the minute they get to school, we do our best to support our students and provide a safe and loving environment for each and every one of them.

My Project

We work really hard on our computers every day, but can be easily distracted by all of the sounds! We got 12 pairs of headphones funded in our last project, now we would like to complete our set! Another set of 12 will give every student the opportunity to use headphones every day.

I don't want any of my students to worry about if they'll get to use headphones or not!

Funding this project would eliminate that worry for all!
