Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come in every day with a wonderful spirit for learning! Our third grade group is composed of about 95 students who come from all kinds of backgrounds located in a school community surrounded by so many challenges. One hundred percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. Although their short lives have included many challenges like homelessness, gang violence, and extreme poverty, they come to school ready and eager to learn. They bring their own talents, curiosity and an endless spirit for a better world! Some of my students are learning English for the first time. Therefore, school is a new and exciting place to be!
My Project
As we continue to work with our students as they stay safely at home, these resources will make learning from home easier. The mobile whiteboard will make learning in any corner of home a place for them to learn.
The projector will help me guide them better through examples of the work expected!
The headphones and microphone headset will help my students hear me. We really struggled with this during this past semester. I will also give me the mobility to show the work I'm displaying on whiteboard, projector or computer.
