My Project

Our preschool through 1st grade Deaf Education students are ready to dig, scoop, and build their way into learning! Sensory sand play is more than just fun—it’s a chance for our kids to practice language, teamwork, and creativity while their hands stay busy. With a sand and water play table, moldable sand, and an ice cream set, our classroom will transform into a place where castles rise, cones are “scooped,” and imaginations run wild. Every scoop and mold creates opportunities for our students to use new ASL and English vocabulary in meaningful ways.

When kids play together in the sand, magic happens.

They share tools, talk about their creations, and learn to solve problems as a team—all while laughing and having fun. These moments help our students grow in confidence as communicators and friends. With your support, our little diggers will not only build sandcastles but also build language, social skills, and memories that will stick with them long after the sand settles.
