My students need comprehension and nonfiction practice materials to help our reading grow! These materials include reading comprehension games, task cards, and reading materials in both fiction and nonfiction to help them be successful.
My students are from the upstate of South Carolina. They are part of a diverse school that is near the local university. The best part about my group of students is that they are able to learn about other cultures from around the world.
My students are bright, caring, and energetic!
They love to get up and move! A lot of our time is spent moving through different stations and working with different partners. This group of students are definitely leaders who will change the world some day!
My Project
Education in the United States is always changing. However, one thing remains the same. That is reading and the ability to comprehend what has just been read. Students absolutely NEED to have awesome reading comprehension skills in order to be a productive member of society and the workforce. However, the sad reality of all of this is that teachers and schools often times do not have the means to obtain everything they need to help their students reach their full potential. That is where wonderful companies like DonorsChoose.org come in.
My students need reading comprehension games, task cards, and reading materials in both fiction and nonfiction to help them be successful.
The items that I am asking for from Lakeshore Learning will definitely make it easier for my students to build their comprehension skills.
