This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning a new language can be challenging, but speaking the new language often is the most intimidating part! These engaging puppets give all English Learners opportunities to practice their speaking skills in a fun, relaxing way. Not only are they practicing engaging in conversation, but they are learning new vocabulary as well with the diverse Kid Puppets and the Community Helpers set. Don't be surprised if even the most shy, timid student suddenly takes over the stage once he or she dons an astronaut or a doctor puppet! These are wonderful ways to get a newcomer student speaking from day 1!
