Can We Print on Our Own, Please?

My students need a Google enabled color printer and toner so they can print anything from a research paper, to an image for a project.

My Students

My middle school students come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all love to learn with technology. They deserve to have the best in their classroom so they can learn with ease. I am fortunate enough to teach in a small, well run, Chicago public school.

Many of my students are low income, minority, middle school students.

My 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students come to our school from all over the city. Some take two buses to school, because they prefer our school to the options in their own neighborhood. Our school motto is, "Small school, big dreams" and so we are dreaming big, with this printer request.

My Project

Technology changes rapidly and in middle school science we are trying to keep up with the times. Many things can be done on our Chromebooks, but we also have occasions when we need to print.

This HP Printer has Google Cloud printing capabilities allowing students to use their Chromebook to print anything, from a research paper, to an image for a project or display.

This color printer and toner will benefit our entire middle school team allowing our special education teachers to print color-coded documents as needed with ease. Our math teachers can print color-coded math games or problems. Our classroom environments will improve, as teachers will be able to easily print color photos and graphics for bulletin boards.
