This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 25 energetic and ready to learn Kindergarten students.
For most of my students, this is their first school experience and I want for it to be a memorable one!
Kindergarten is one of the first foundations for the rest of their educational careers and your donation will help me maximize their experiences. Our school is located in South Los Angeles, California. We are a 100% Title I school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of white board markers. We use white board markers throughout the day. We use them for math, vocabulary, and ELD. We also need ink and glue sticks. We use our classroom printer to print Writers Workshop pages, classwork, flashcards, and homework. Glue sticks are a must have for little hands. These materials are always being used so they need to be replenish constantly. Help us with refills. Please!
My class cannot run without these materials.
They are used on a daily basis and are essential in a kindergarten classroom. I use the printer to not only print activities for my students, but also data and parent communication letters.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
