Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In second grade, I constantly use our classroom printer throughout the day. My school limits the number of copies that we can make in a school year. Each year, I find myself printing thousands of copies from home. I use my printer for resources such as critical, weekly newsletters, classwork, homework, and work packets for our students. I also use it as a quick go-to when my students need more remediation on a specific skill. It allows me to quickly meet the needs of my diverse learners by individualizing the activities that they complete daily. Having a printer in our classroom is very important. Having copy paper and toner is even more essential.

Toner and paper are crucial to our daily learning, since teachers receive a limited supply of copies for the year.

Having a printer within our classroom also allows me to provide my students with materials that enhance their learning and enable them to practice daily.

Students must have access to different learning materials that sometimes cannot be provided to them from a textbook. My goal is to provide my students with the needed materials that will enhance their learning. By supporting this project, you are helping me to further my students' learning with all the resources that can be given to them with a simple "click."
