My Students

I teach in a small community full of kids excited to learn. My students are bright and energetic with the capabilities to do many good things in their lives. My students are from a small close-knit rural community that celebrates special events like the Maypole Dance and Pioneer Day. The area of our school is so large that some students need to take a 30-minute bus ride every morning.

I joined DonorsChoose because I know so many people that want to help our students and this is a great way for generous people to contribute and help our students.

I have been able to see many teachers and students benefit from the kind acts of donors.

Thank you for all that you do to help bring the necessary supplies to our classrooms.

My Project

The books I am requesting for my students are books that they have specifically chosen that they want to read. I have a lot of students who finish their work early and they have read every book in the classroom.

These books will be added to our classroom library and give the students the opportunity to read the books they want to read and make it so they don't have to wait for these books to be available in the media center.
