My students need a classroom set of headphones to use with our chrome books. The headphones will be a perfect addition to our classroom.

My Students

My students are growing up in a fast paced age. Technology drives everything and sitting down to read is becoming a thing of the past. Because of this fast pace world, many students are not given the opportunity to enjoy the slow pace of a good book. Some, do not even own a book at home.

I want to give my students the world.

I can do this by putting a book in the hand of every student. My students are thirsting for knowledge and chances to become something much bigger than they imagine.

My Project

Notice the project title? That is the question I am asked every, single day. My students need headphones. They have fallen in love with the "I Survived" stories that are read aloud on Epic! They listen and track these stories constantly.

Unfortunately, I am limited in the number of headphones I can use in my classroom.

I have generous parents who have donated what they can, but they do not hold up for every day use. My students love learning, and their comprehension is growing daily by implementing a listening aspect into our routine.

Studies have shown the benefit for listening to text while tracking in the book. So many of my students have grown this year by doing just that. I want all my students to have the same opportunity as those who are fortunate enough to have a good pair of headphones.
