Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting supplies such as pony beads, wood for crafting, and paint for our annual Camp Learn-A-Lot theme unit study with STEM in mind. Every year, I have my students create and make items such as necklaces, nature journals, and paint rocks for our camping theme. We wrap up the year with a camp theme of learning and fun. Having these items will make our lessons engaging, fun, and exciting. Each day at camp, students will have some sort of STEAM challenge, and using these materials is what we need. I am requesting water bottles and stickers that students can earn to decorate their water bottles with.

I am also requesting camping books and journals for students to read and reflect during our independent reading time.

We will "camp out" and read books with our buddies with these new books. Thank you for all your support!
