Camping Fun Indoors

Help me give my students pretend food, camp fire, tent and lanterns for a fun camp site experience

My Project

My students would love supplies for play camping. They talk about camping and love books like Bear Hunt and ABC of camping. Food, lights, tent and campfire will be perfect for my students to have a big imagination as they make believe camp sites. Melissa and Doug products hold up so well so year after year.

One of my favorite things about my classroom is providing them real life experiences.

This is exciting for them to relate to their world while trying new things. It provides opportunities for all my students to come together with a common goal. They communicate their ideas and plan together.

Melissa and Doug food sets are high quality and realistic. Having multiple lanterns will help with conflict resolution and working together. The stem set to build the tent will be a great project to give opportunities to problem solve, work cooperatively and make a fun fort to play pretend inside.
