Providing my students with exciting games and materials to explore will increase their language and interactions. What's happening photo cards are a great way to get all children involved regardless of their learning level. There are limited materials in our classroom for speech language development. Giving our students games and materials for language will help them succeed. Several of our children are working on goals to expand their vocabulary and sentence length in order to close the gap in their developmental delay. The touch and match guessing game allows children with limited language to still participate. These materials will help with quality and quantity of language. The story teller writing box helps children identify the subject, action and place to increase their sentence length and improve their grammar. The children will interact and develop language through play; an important element for their learning.
