Camp Fire Took Our Classroom and Now We Need Storage!

Help me give my students classroom storage like they had before the wildfire burned everything to ashes.

My Students

My students are my sun and moon. In fact, they lost their homes and their classrooms in the Camp Fire last November. We are in Paradise, California, and it is all gone. I love these students and families so much that the fire was on a Thursday and we began school in my home in the nearby town of Chico, where many were evacuated, the following Monday.

I have a diverse group of kiddos who are wildly curious.

Now they are traumatized. We need your help starting over.

My Project

It’s been nine months since the Camp Fire took my classroom. I now have a classroom (hurray!) and am desperate for storage units big and small. I am now needing units to hold the classroom library, student papers, and student supplies.

Replacing the storage units we had before the Camp Fire will help us on our path to rebuilding our classroom.

The storage cart for the classroom library will allow me to organize our books instead of having them in boxes around the room. The storage drawers will allow each child a drawer to keep papers and notebooks in a neat and personal space. The supply caddies will allow us to keep our daily supplies on our assigned tables.

All of these storage units will allow us to function as an organized classroom.
