My Project
I teach in a low-income area in the Bronx. My amazing students are autistic and nonverbal but, this does not stop them from wanting to learn. We will be exploring cameras and I would like for them to be able to explore cameras without any apprehension. Having these cameras will enhance their level of creativity and provide an opportunity to learn a new skill.
Even though they pretend cameras these materials will allow my students to take apart the parts explore the cameras and put them back together.
Once they have explored the pretend ones we can now explore the real ones.
