My Students
Many of my photography students are not able to provide their own camera, as the money they do have cannot go to an extravagant purchase like a digital camera. Our students come from many diverse backgrounds; many military families, low income students and then there are a portion of the students that are on the other end of the spectrum. Providing cameras to my students helps to level the playing field between the students. I want to give all students the opportunity to learn about photography, expose them to art and give them the steps to take good photos.
I want to teach students the difference between a snapshot and a photo!

My Project
These cameras will help enhance the cameras already available for students to use in a Photography Class. These cameras give more opportunities for students that normally would not have access to a camera and therefore not able to take the class. Students using these cameras have access to modes such as Shutter and Aperture Priority which broadens the photography options.
Help students learn how cameras work and give them the ability to capture photos in all settings.
Cameras open the world to students to see the world from different views.
