My Students

My students are amazing, creative and resilient in the face of the pandemic! Whatever their situation, these dynamic learners overcome obstacles with patience and humor. They need your help to document their work until they can return to school safely.

My Project

Students in my rural Maine area need help documenting their work. A sturdy, simple camera will enable them to send me photos of their math calculations, pages of hand writing, and images of the logic puzzles they love. Students in the GT art program could use photography to communicate their ideas and experiences.

A camera will humanize remote learning for my students because it will let them send in work from their hearts and hands in ways that online classroom formats cannot.

They would be able to share their experiences, authentically.
