This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We are an inner city magnet school to our district, with a medical theme. My students come from all over the city, from all different schools, cultures and backgrounds. In spite of the many obstacles, my students achieve higher than all the neighboring high schools and have a 100% graduation rate and college acceptance rate. Most of our students select careers in the medical school. Their access to resources needed to prepare them for this path is very limited. Donors Choose makes it possible for our children to have the necessary tools to succeed.

My Project

These resources will prepare students for college. It is essential to have assistance with the testing portion that is essential for college entry. This program allows the students to interact with the course. This tool is an excellent tool for students to practice and get familiar with testing. This program, Albert Small is a students own private tutor. Albert guides the student through different exercises that brings a comfort and ease. The interaction component is the plus. Students are able to get immediate feedback that does not only correct wrong answers, but shows why the answer is not correct. My students are very excited to get this project for Albert funded!
