This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sensory tools can help keep frustration or sense of feeling overwhelmed at bay. These objects provide comfort and help reduce anxiety. The more calm and relaxed the students are the easier it is for them to focus on learning.

My goal is to not only provide my students with items that they can use at school but to have them also use these items such as fidgets toys and play-doh out in their community.

All my students come from low economic backgrounds and it is essential for my students to be provided with these tools as they have already experienced much in their lives. I want my students to be successful and with your help I can make it happen.
