Help me give my students some flexible seating options. The wobble chairs and cushions will help them get some of their wiggles out and be able to focus on their learning.
My students are first graders who come from a low income area. Some of my students have a hard time sitting quietly to focus and struggle with ADHD and ADD. They are fun loving kids and who are happy to come to school and want to learn.
My Project
The material I am requesting for my students will really help them be able to focus on their learning better. Students have a lot to deal with especially going through a pandemic. They need to be able to focus on their learning more than ever. Some students really have a hard time sitting still and it distracts them. The wobble chairs and cushions will help get those movements out and help them focus on learning. First grade is an essential time in students learning. It is where students really develop their reading skills. It is important for them to be able to focus. I have a few students that struggle to calm down. The calming tools will really help when students are nervous or upset. They can take a short break and be able to calm down and get back to learning.
