Calming Social Emotional Learning Center

Help me give my students a way to practice their social emotional skills in a safe and comfortable classroom environment.

My Project

I am in a self-contained autism classroom where we practice a lot of social emotional skills in fun and creative ways. My students range in skills and we require a variety of tools and materials to learn concepts.

The goal is to create a safe space for students to learn how to utilize calming and social strategies and allow them to sit comfortably as they do so.

The beanbags and chairs will allow my students to take control of their learning by allowing them to decide where they learn best.
