My students were amazing during covid handling all of their fluctuating emotions, but now that we are back in a normal school setting, my students are starting to show distress again.
My students really need a safe and calm place to think, breathe and work on things while we are talking through what is causing their anger or anxiety.
I have numerous amount of children that have returned to school with very high anxiety. As a counselor, I am also dealing with a lot of PTSD in some of my wonderful students.
Many of my students are dealing with learning to calm down when they get angry and I have several that just need a nice calming place to get rid of anxiety. I would love to add games, quiet places to sit, and items to help them redirect their anxiety and anger. All of these items will help put my students back on a path to a better day.
