My Project
My students are kindergarten through second graders who are creative, playful and curious. I teach in a public school where my students are in a self contained classroom. My classroom is for students on the Autism spectrum or who have developmental delays. My school is a Title I school where over 50% receive free and reduced lunch.
Learning how to regulate their emotions will help my students be successful students and members of our community.
I will use the Ninja books to help teach my students social skills. They will use the sensory items when they are in the Calmdown corner to help them regulate their emotions.
