My students are a lively and lovable group of second graders! They are from an urban city in Massachusetts and love learning. These second graders are quite active and very curious about the world. They enjoy anything that is hands-on and allows them to move around. My students love anything that makes learning come to life and is FUN.
As a teacher, it is my job to help all of my students be successful and help foster a love of learning.
I take this job very seriously and am honored to have these kids in my class.
My Project
With all the demands of education, the school day can be very stressful! Often, students can be anxious coming to school. In our classrooms, we have fluorescent lighting which can be very sharp to the eyes. According to the manufacturer, "Harsh glare and flickering lights can cause eyestrain, headaches, even anxiety."
The light covers requested in this project will help to soften and filter the lighting, leading to a more calming and tranquil environment for learning.
As a result, students will experience less stress and anxiety throughout the school day. Students will be able to focus and be ready to learn during the day.
