Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I strive to create a calm atmosphere for all students and hope that dimming fluorescent lights and having indirect lighting will help my students remain cool, calm, and collected while they create art in my classroom. Many of my students are on the autism spectrum and the lighting in my classroom is not sensory friendly (it is bright and very fluorescent). The different lighting configurations will help make my classroom more inviting to students with sensory differences, and create a calm environment for all to learn in. Thanks for your consideration and support.
