My Project
I am making 15 calming kits to give to our special education teachers. This kits will include a variety of fidgets, coloring books, markers, and other sensory tools to keep in classrooms. Teachers can have students use these calming kits in order to help regulate student emotions and increase their time spent learning in the classrooms!
My goal is that students will use these calming kits when feeling unregulated and instead of leaving class or asking to go home, they will use these kits to get regulated and never need to leave the classroom.
Our students deserve the best. These calming kits will help support them emotionally!
