My Project
These plush animals, visual timers, calming tools and fidgets for elementary students will help them to take a break when need to calm, refocus and return to class reregulated and ready to learn!
My goal for this project is to supply students who are emotionally dysregulated with the tools they need to calm their bodies through the use of tactile and visual aids.
The goal is to return happy children to class as soon as possible so they are able to engage with other students and grade level instruction. My students are sweet little souls who sometimes need to take a break, breath through frustration and learn they can be in control of their own emotions.
