My Project
The goal of this project is to put a calming corner in every classroom at our school! Calming Corners are an awesome way for students to practice self-regulation, learn coping skills, and feel safe at school.
Each calming corner will come equipped with a beanbag for comfortable seating, a shag pillow for something to hug, a yoga mat for mindful movement, and a fidget box.
Teachers will also be equipped with breathing balls and singing bowls for mindfulness in the classroom.
We are also providing low-cost/no-cost items such as posters and printable puzzles to the corners, but are seeking assistance to really give our students the very best!
