Help me give my students who have sensory needs, attention challenges, or emotional regulation goals, a beanbag chair that would provide a calming, comfortable space for them to refocus, take breaks and help them.

My Project
I have the privilege of working with exceptional students in grades 4 to 6 who benefit from Tier 3 intervention support and possess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to their specific learning and emotional requirements. What I appreciate most about my students is their remarkable resilience, creativity, and their determination to persevere, even when faced with challenging learning experiences. They flourish when provided with appropriate tools and a conducive environment, which is precisely why I am advocating for the addition of a beanbag chair. This flexible seating solution will create a safe and calming area for students who require sensory input, need a moment to self-regulate, or simply seek a comfortable place to concentrate on reading or learning. Within our small intervention room, this beanbag will enhance emotional well-being, alleviate anxiety, and boost student engagement and confidence. It represents a minor adjustment that can lead to significant improvements for these dedicated learners.
