My Project
This Calming Corner will give students a designated space to self-regulate when they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or upset. With sensory tools, calming visuals, and emotional regulation resources, the corner will help students develop healthy coping strategies and return to learning with a clear mind. By promoting emotional well-being, this project will not only improve classroom behavior and focus but also nurture essential life skills like self-awareness and self-control. Each resource in the Calming Corner, whether it's a fidget tool, a feelings chart, or a soft cushion, will help transform our classroom into a more inclusive, trauma-informed space where all students can thrive.
