My Project

The resources for the calming corner include books about emotions, sensory tools, and puzzles. Because some students may need to freedom to move a bit, I have also included flexible seating and a rug as they explore and self-regulate.

As students are about to use the emotions sorting tool, they are able to see the exact emotion that they hold which will help give them the words to express how they feel.

These resources will give students a choice in how to better explore, identify, and express their feelings. Students should feel at liberty to explore when they need to practice self-regulation.
