My Project
My third graders are amazing, kind, resilient, and creative. I would love to create a calming corner for our classroom that will allow students to go to when they are feeling strong emotions. I want to create a space that feels safe and allows them to manage their feelings positively.
This project, with the requested flexible seating, Playdoh, chimes and bubbler machine, will give our classroom a special place that encourages and promotes healthy ways to regulate emotions.
This calm space will provide opportunities for students to become aware of how they feel and how to calm themselves. These materials will be used and appreciated greatly.
