Help me give my students a comfortable, calming space to process their emotions when they get too big for them to handle. The bean bag will help offer a soft place for them to sit.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are the youngest at our school and for many of them this is the first time attending a school. Being away from their families, meeting new people, and learning how to get along with others can be overwhelming.
I want to be able to provide a safe comfortable space that allows my students to process how they are feeling.
Having this bean bag and sensory toys will help me provide a calming corner for my students. Recently my bean bag of 7 years became unusable and this will replace it.
