My Project
I am requesting items for a cozy, calming corner for my young Autistic students. I am asking for a rug, weighted vests, fidget balls, and a weighted stuffed animal. These items will help my students regulate themselves during the school day. A break in a calming area can help my students reset and come back to learning. Without a break, we often see tantrums, running or escaping the classroom, or loud outbursts that disrupt the entire class.
I am requesting items to help them regulate their senses and emotions throughout the school day.
