My Project
As the 3rd and 4th grade teacher of the Behavior Support Program I want to be able to provide my students with a safe comfortable place (seating & rug) to go for a variety of situations.
This area will be used for self regulation, a safe place to cope with emotions, a place to communicate, a resting spot when they are overwhelmed, a place for self expression, and so much more.
An area like this is proven beneficial in helping students to develop self coping skills and improving their overall mental health and well being.
