Calming Classroom

Help me give my students a calm and safe space to learn and thrive. Being able to practice calming strategies will create successful students. We need floor cushions, crayons, books, and dry erase materials.

My Project

Having a sound classroom and learning environment is very important. We are requesting items to help us create a safe, and calm space, that will allow us to thrive and be successful. Having flexible seating will allow the students to work at their own comfort level. All student learners will be able to choose how they want to work and learn in the best way that suits them.

The new addition to the classroom this year is a calming corner.

This will consist of posters, calming strategies, and resources, to allow students to learn how to self-regulate and take a mindful break when needed.
