My students this year are in grades three through five. In my classroom, I love creating a calm atmosphere for them to work in. Having a calm classroom allows the students to control and manage their emotions. Along with an all-around calm environment, I would also like to provide my students with other calming solutions.
I have selected a few tools that I feel will benefit my students, such as sensory sand, marble maze sensory mats, and tactile boards.
I have also included a few vocabulary card games to use with my groups. These word games are great for building vocabulary and learning new word meanings.
