This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need a new rug to help them learn and grow in the classroom. Having the calming colors rug will help students feel calm while learning in the classroom. Having a designated spot to go sit during carpet time will help move the lessons along and take away the pressure of having to pick a place to sit within the classroom. The carpet is also where a lot of learning happens; we sing songs sitting at the carpet, play games, have dance party brain breaks, and connect with each other.
